A storm of controversy has erupted following allegations against a Russian tourist accused of targeting unsuspecting women in Nairobi.
The foreign national is said to have approached different women in the city before inviting them to his Airbnb accommodation, where he allegedly recorded their private encounters without their knowledge or consent.
The suspect, who has reportedly travelled across several African countries including Nigeria and Ghana, later shared the explicit footage on Telegram, sparking outrage online.
Preliminary reports suggest that some of the women featured in the clips are married, while others are believed to be in serious relationships. Social media claims further allege that each woman was paid approximately 20 US dollars.
The incident has ignited debate around privacy, consent, and the risks associated with meeting strangers.
