Siaya County Governor James Orengo now says the current ODM Party boss Dr. Oburu Odinga has never stood firm for anything since childhood.

Addressing issues facing their ODM Party on NTV today Sunday, the vocal governor highlighted their struggles for freedom and multipartysm saying the current ODM leadership is weak and cannot be the right one to move the opposition forward. Describing it as a prays and worship group, Orengo noted that for the party to regian its nam and brand, there is need for a new young leadership.

He also told his host that he can, as well, take over the party and lead it towards the right direction where everybody would feel heard and free.

Orengo said there is a reason Raila Odinga took over from his father Jaramogi Oginga Odinga as Oburu Odinga remained in the shadows.

“Oburu has never been on the political forefront, never tasted teargas, and is not capable of leading ODM. But he is a good honest man,” he stated.
