If you want to make it in your line of career whether trained or not, you require what business people call ‘consistence’ to make your skill popular in the market as well as to perfect it even more for the market.
Most young men nowadays want quick wealth without toiling. They are self-cheated to think that after getting an A in class and graduating, they have to automatically start making money and, if that is not going to be possible, they have to plunge themselves into drugs or robbery crimes in the name of the popular 50Cent Hip Hop line ‘get-rich or die trying’.
If you tell a young man today that get your hands dirty for some time and you will enjoy soon, he or she will tell you off and immediately vanish. These crop of persons(Gen Zs) don’t want to accept that a skill must be horned for few more years, followed by years of personal branding before money starts rolling in.
But for them, they want to leave school today, armed with a degree in their hands, think money is a guarantee even without a name or experience. That is where they go wrong.
This kind of attitude has denied most of them good opportunities that would rather have made them rich after just a few years of field work.
But, there is no peace on both sides(office or business) because in business, you will require some amount of patience before your first customers come to accept your product or services. Everything good takes a bit of time. This can’t be changed now.
I see nothing in spending some two or three years branding yourself for a guaranteed future of returns rather than to waste yourself in drugs, alcohol and bad company just because you couldn’t spend some few months gaining experience and branding your skill.
