In an emotional revelation today Sunday, DAP-Kenya Party leader Eugine Wamalwa shared a glimpse into his early life, recalling the challenges he faced growing up without his father.
“My father died when I was only six years old. I was raised by my late brother Michael Kijana Wamalwa,” Eugine said, paying tribute to the late politician who shaped much of his childhood and career path.
Eugine admitted that losing his father at such a young age left a gap he could never fully fill. “I never had time to see and enjoy a life with my father,” he reflected, highlighting the personal sacrifices and challenges that influenced his upbringing.
The DAP-Kenya leader emphasized that despite these hardships, the guidance and mentorship from his older brother, Michael Kijana Wamalwa – a prominent figure in Kenya’s political landscape – instilled in him the values of leadership and resilience that continue to drive his political journey today.
The politician’s heartfelt reflection comes at a time when he continues to build his political career, following in the footsteps of his brother while forging his own path within the Kenyan political scene.
