Harambee Stars left-back Erick Marcelo Ouma won praise after making a kind-hearted gesture by paying match tickets for football fans who had been stranded outside the stadium.
A total of 61 supporters heading to watch the Kenya Police vs AFC Leopards fixture were left at the gate after failing to secure entry tickets. Their fortunes changed when Ouma, one of Kenya’s finest football exports, stepped in and covered the cost, allowing them to watch the match.
The Kenyan international, who currently plays for Polish Ekstraklasa side Raków Częstochochowa, is widely admired both on and off the pitch for his humility and commitment to giving back.
Born on September 27, 1996, Ouma is a key member of the Harambee Stars squad. While naturally a left-back, he is versatile enough to operate across the entire left flank.
