DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has openly recorded his displeasure with Citizen Tv’s senior news and political reporter Stephen Letoo.
The opposition figure accused the Citizen Tv reporter of colluding with the State to undermine his efforts of uniting the opposition.
Referencing to what happened last Sunday in Kariobangi North, Gachagua wondered why Letoo went forward to file a contradicting news item that favoured the government and it’s police instead of being neutral.
He therefore urged the journalist to make public his 2027 political ambitions so that the public can be able to see through his conduct.
“Hata kama unataka kusimama kiti 2027 kwa chama cha UDA, tunakuomba just try to be neutral for now,” Gachagua stated.
Sunday confrontation broke out in Kariobangi North between supporters of DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua and another group, prompting police to fire teargas to disperse the clash.
Gachagua now says the police were escorting the goons to harm him and his team and not what Letoo reported from the scene.
He told Letoo to practice professionalism on job so that to save the country from bad leadership and dictatorship from the State.
