Kakamega County senator Dr. Bonni Khalwale now says he never begged to be given any job in the rulling party.
Addressing supporters in him home today, Khalwale mentioned that the Chief Whip post he has been serving in the Senate was earned. That it came by as a result of his hard work and dedication during the last 2022 general elections.
He has told President William Ruto to recognize the fact that without him(Khalwale), it was impossible for anyone to let alot vote but even listen to UDA in the last campaigns especially in Western Region.
“I never said I wanted to be Chief Whip. A man with my pedigree, how could I ask for such a low position in government?”Bonny Khalwale noted.
The vocal politician was recently ousted from his Chief Whip position which he has been holding since the assuming power of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Dr. Khalwale has since warned the ruling party that come 2022, he will be fighting hard to block it from getting any support in Western Region and especially Kakamega where his main base is.
Khalwale’s final fallout with his boss William Ruto is after the Malava by-election where he supported a rival candidate, Mr. Seth Panyako who would then lose to UDA’s David Ndakwa.
