Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on the Odinga family to actively join the official opposition, urging them to unite in the quest to remove President William Ruto from office in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking today, Mr. Musyoka emphasized that the late Raila Odinga’s vision for change in Kenya must not be abandoned or forgotten. He stressed that the ongoing movement for progress and reform requires solidarity among opposition leaders and stakeholders to achieve the intended political transformation.

“Mama Ida Odinga, Oburu, Winnie, Babu Owino, and Sifuna, please remember your first love and join us in this united opposition to complete the task in the memory of Raila,” Kalonzo Musyoka said, appealing to the family to carry forward Raila’s legacy.

Kalonzo highlighted that Raila’s lifelong commitment to reform and national development cannot simply be wished away. He urged members of the Odinga family and other allies to consolidate efforts to form a cohesive front that can effectively challenge the incumbent government at the ballot in 2027.

Kalonzo further listed Edwin Sifuna, Godfrey Osotsi and MP Babu Owino among the ODM politicians who should consider switching to the United Opposition side.

Political observers note that Kalonzo’s call comes at a time when opposition parties are seeking to strengthen alliances ahead of the next general election. The Wiper leader’s appeal signals a strategic move to rally influential leaders and grassroots supporters under a single opposition banner, positioning the coalition as a formidable contender in the fight for political change.
