Karauri was not on the said chopper; together with Cherargei, he had boarded a different chopper. These are the six occupants of the said chopper, together with Ngeno and the pilot. May Yehova Wanyonyi remember them as they circumnavigate through the corridors of Sayuni.
Authorities have recovered a mobile phone and SIM card belonging to Hon. Johana Ng’eno, the Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikir Constituency, at the crash scene. Similar gadgets belonging to Amos Kipngetich Rotich, an officer with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS), have also been recovered.
The identities of the remaining four occupants are yet to be confirmed. Further updates will be shared as official identification and investigations continue.
