Scammers have been on the rise in Kenya with new money Apps mushrooming every day which they flaunt on the internet to lure unsuspecting Kenyans to join and earn sometimes with referral bonuses that are always shortlived.

I asked a friend of mine to tell me why he thinks scammers have mostly been targeting the Kenyan market, and, he told me that these people love Kenya because one, in Kenya, many people spend a lot of their time on the internet and two, it is because Kenyans love quick money – what we call shortcuts through dirty deals and, sometimes, clean deals.

For that reason, tech savvy foreigners from Nigeria and who register briefcase online companies in the U.K target the Kenyan market to drain it dry through fake promises of quick money in certain investments in the industry of Crypto and Bitcoin. And, luckily, they get ready market here in Kenya where were the population is ready to join anything that smells and sounds like money.

Fraud cases on an Increase

In the long run, the ponze schemes end up stealing a lot of money from them just after six months of operations. Indeed, such cases have been alarming in the recent time.

And this is also the reason platforms like Aviator and other illegal betting services have targeted helpless Kenyans mostly.

Said and done, how can you then avoid or evade this scam trap at the time when you also want to make money and become wealthier just like the rest? It’s simple, don’t run for quick money and do not join any Platform promising you quick huge percentage returns in a short time either from investments or gambling.

Social platforms with such promotions are never safe for your money. And as you know, they manage your emotions by setting odds, first, in your favour then after grabbing your full attention, they con and go.

Business and Free Money

A single advice is, never imagine that there is any free money. Things like gambling, Aviator, trading on Apps and Forex trading are not as good as you may think. People are losing their only money and committing suicide.

They commit suicide because most of them use their only years of savings to bet. Some use loans and some use their bosses’ sales money to join these platforms. It is careless!

All these Apps get you addicted to them thinking you will compensate a loss through more trading, but, sadly, as you fight to recover what you lost in your first and second trades, you keep losing terribly then drown into frustrations, depression before killing yourself.
