A new faction has emerged within ODM, led by ex-Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, signaling its full support for Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.
The group reportedly includes around fifteen (15) MPs, among them Woman Representative Elsy Muhanda, Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, Lurambi’s Bishop Titus Khamala, Matungu’s Nabulindo, Aseka Miradi(Khwisero), Tindi Mwale(Butere), Mugabe, Benerd Shinali(Ikolomani) John Naicca(Mumias West), and several others.
Members of this faction have pledged to stand firmly with Mr. Sifuna in opposition to the rival faction led by Oburu Oginga and Junet Mohamed, underscoring growing divisions within the party.
