Security agencies in Endebess Sub-County have arrested six suspects believed to be members of a notorious criminal gang following a coordinated operation targeting organized crime.
The suspects, identified as Juma Wanjala, Samson Kapolon Ewoi, Thomas Esakon Lorongoi, Linus Wekesa Wasilwa, Moses Kisuya Wekesa, and Ezra Simiyu Nyongesa, are accused of terrorizing residents of Kaisheber, Nabeki, Cherubai, and neighboring areas through a series of criminal activities.
According to police, the operation led to the recovery of items linked to violent crime, including a military-style jungle belt, a beret, and three machetes. The seized items raised concerns over the gang’s preparedness to engage in violent acts.
Authorities confirmed that the group – commonly referred to as the “Kapenguria Six” – has been taken into police custody, where they are being processed ahead of arraignment.
Law enforcement officials reiterated their commitment to dismantling criminal networks and restoring safety in the region, warning that similar operations will continue as part of ongoing efforts to protect the public.
