Comedian and content creator Oga Obinna has issued a stern warning to politicians seeking to attend his much-anticipated Mbavu vs Majembe boxing showdown at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

In a video shared on his X (Twitter) account, #Obinna expressed frustration over a surge of calls from both elected and non-elected leaders requesting free entry to the event – despite tickets having been on sale for over a week.

He made it clear that no one would be granted special access, urging anyone interested in attending to purchase tickets for themselves and their security teams.

“If you don’t have a ticket, buy one. If you’re coming with bodyguards, make sure they also have tickets. This event has been fully funded from my own pocket and effort; so don’t call me about friendship,” he said.

Obinna further cautioned that there would be no preferential treatment at the gate or inside the venue, emphasizing fairness for all fans.

The highly anticipated bout between rising fighters #Majembe and #Mbavu Destroyer is expected to draw thousands of spectators from across Nairobi. The winner will walk away with a cash prize and additional rewards, including a brand-new car.

The event has been organized by Obinna, with support from several corporate sponsors, marking one of the most talked-about entertainment-sport crossovers in the city this year.
