UPDATE: The Beretta pistol that was used in the Westlands restaurant robbery belonged to Justice Aggrey Muchelule.
The Judge says he only realized the pistol, serial number H20930Y, was missing from his Kitusuru home when he was informed by the police that it was recovered in Joska.
According to the police account, the judge says the last time he physically checked the weapon was in October 2025, when he intended to renew his firearm licence, but he later forgot to complete the renewal process.
