Police in Mlolongo have arrested a woman identified as Linet Munala following an incident in which her three children were allegedly poisoned. Authorities say the incident is linked to a domestic dispute involving her husband, Alex Mogeni, a driver with Galaxy Parcel.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident followed allegations of infidelity. Sources indicate that Munala was informed by friends that her husband was involved in an extramarital affair. When she confronted him, he reportedly denied the claims. However, Munala later accessed his phone and allegedly discovered WhatsApp messages suggesting an ongoing relationship with another woman.
Investigators say Munala secretly took the woman’s contact and called her. During the conversation, the woman reportedly confirmed the relationship and made remarks that further escalated the situation.
Police say events later took a tragic turn, leading to the poisoning of the children. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, and authorities have not released further details.
Munala is currently being held at Mlolongo Police Station as detectives continue to piece together the events leading up to the incident. Police have urged the public to remain calm and allow investigations to take their course.
