Jirongo was known for his millionaire status, Savula for mostly drunk images which are usually shared online time and again; while the current MP Mr. Nabwera is accused of scaring locals. They say he uses threats and intimidation tactics to rule.
Savula, though, drunk most of the time, knows how to remain connected with voters. Locals who vote there say he is always available, what has kept him relevant at home upto today.
Infact, would he not have joined the County government politics in 2022, today, the current MP Nabwera would still be struggling with pains of lost elections – twice. Nobody was voting him for anything.
Mr. Nabwera won this time because he didn’t have a competition from the range of Savula. If Savula decides to go back to Lugari, this will be the end of the name Nabwera.
So if you ask who among the three was the best? The list would appear in this manner: Jirongo, Savula and then the rest. However, Jirongo and Savula could also interchange their rankings.
