President William Ruto and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka have continued to trade blows over their development history and track record.

With ODM Party leader Raila Odinga now out of the equation, Kalonzo Musyoka will have to work hard to handle the rising State machinery as the country enters the final phase of next general elections, 2027.

While in Turkana today Monday December 16, President Ruto called out ⁦Mr. Musyoka⁩ for lying about having launched the Kibwezi-Bondoni road. This is after the Wiper Party boss attempted to respond to Ruto’s outbursts about the bad status of Theukuru Road that serves Kalonzo’a rural home.

“Utapata wapi akili ya kujengea Wakenya barabara kama barabara ya kwenda kwako ni vumbi na matope? – President Ruto told the United Opposition leader Mr. Musyoka.

Ruto also wondered how Kalonzo would still find guts to respond to him over development record. The president said facts are stubborn and that it will be hard for Mr. Musyoka to fight the truth that is backed up by records.

“Huyo jamaa anakuja kujaribu kunijibu ati sio miaka 50 ati ni 40 alikuwa kwa serikali. Kwani unahitaji miaka ngapi kujenga barabara moja ya kwako?” Ruto posed.

Ruto has challenged the United Opposition leader to first deal with the poor road heading to his home before thinking of taking any power.

Kalonzo, on the other hand, has questioned the amount of infrastructure being launched by the head of State saying most of these projects are never completed and that they are only done for PR reasons. #Ruto-Kalonzo Clash
