A Dreamline coach was involved in a major road crash in the early hours of Thursday morning at Magina Centre near Kijabe, along the busy Nairobi-Naivasha highway. The accident occurred on a section of the road known for heavy traffic, especially at night.

Preliminary reports indicate that the crash happened at around 1:00 a.m. The bus is said to have rammed into an oncoming transit lorry in a head-on collision, causing a loud impact that drew the attention of nearby residents.

The force of the collision left the front section of the bus extensively damaged. The driver and several passengers who were seated in the front rows sustained serious injuries and were trapped in the wreckage.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and launched an emergency response operation. The injured were carefully freed from the damaged vehicle and rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement on the number of casualties. However, concerns are mounting that the severity of the crash may have resulted in fatalities as investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
