Citizen TV’s news anchor Lulu Hassan is serious with becoming the next Member of Parliament for her Constituency – Mvita. She has since intensified political campaigns either rallies and posters all over.
Every weekend, Lulu is at home on the ground to meet with voters where she is said to sponsor various sports and activities using her media connection.
Walking around her hone town – Mvita, Lulu has scattered huge billboards on highways, already, even before 2027 general elections.
She is probably trying a hand in politics after a long stint in the media where most of her partners got to leave after being poached by both Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto’s administrations.
Among her colleagues who joined politically-influenced positions include Hussein Mohamed, Hassan Nugambi, Francis Gachuri, Kennedy Mureithi, Chemtai Goin and many others some from other major news outlets.
Apart from having a break from active media, these presenters are also aware that there is free money in politics. Once one joins politics, it takes them only one year to become wealth.
