Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has finally announced her departure from office saying she now want to rest.
Ms Passaris made the announcement yesterday reaffirming her willingness to leave office volunterily before 2027 general elections.
According to the ODM Party-elected city woman representative, it comes a time in life when you have to quit and do other things. It’s not a sign of weakness. She, therefore, asked fellow women to step forward and take over from where she is going to leave.
“By 2027, God willing, I will have completed two full terms as Nairobi Woman Rep. I believe it is time for another woman to lead,” Esther Passaris noted on Friday.
The Two-term politician, therefore, proposed Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu as her most preferred Successor in 2027.
She asked her to stand up and run for the coveted seat.
