Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera has hired city lawyer Danstan Omari to represent him as he seeks to sue Kenyans linking him to the disappearance and subsequent death of Munyuki PAG Secondary School Principal Simon Isiaho Shange.

Mr. Nabwera instructed him to ask the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to expedite investigations into the disappearance and whereabouts of Isiaho.

The Principal went missing on Monday, November 3, and his badly mutilated body was discovered dumped in Kipkaren River on Saturday, November 8.

Shortly after his disappearance, the principal’s mangled car was found abandoned along the Eldoret-Malaba Highway. He was not found at the accident’s scene and his body was neither at the scene.

“The MP wants it to be made clear that he has supported, through CDF all the schools in Lugari without discrimination. Anybody, by innuendo trying to imply that he’s behind the missing, or the ultimate criminal act, that either has happened or is likely to happen or may not happen, is a serious defamatory question.

“We have done three demand letters to the three individuals. They must apologise, pull down and pay damages of KSh 20 million from all of them for tarnishing the MP’s reputation. The MP leaves the country today for the UK for parliamentary assignments. We are pursuing these matters in court. We demand compliance before we move to court on Monday.

Lawyer Omari said, the legislator  had instructed him to sue for defamation, Peter Amunga, George Opunga Tamata and Simon Asievela, accusing the three of tarnishing his name, by linking him to the teacher’s death.
