Mama Ida Odinga has today described her nomination as Kenya’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a personal honor.
She told a group of supporters that she was honoured and humbled following the nomination which was announced by the head of Public Service Felix Koskei days ago.
This is despite a section of Kenyans pressuring her to reject the appointment.
