ODM Party leader Dr. Oburu Odinga has broken his silence moments after losing another family member, Beryl Odinga.
In a statement he shared on X and Facebook today Tuesday November 25, Dr. Oburu announced the passing on of his young sister who died in a Nairobi facility.
Here is his full official statement:
“It is with heavy hearts, yet in humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the sudden passing of Beryl Achieng Odinga, my sister.
“Beloved daughter of the late Hon. Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Mama Mary Ajuma Oginga, Beryl was a devoted mother to Ami Auma, Chizi, and Taurai”.
Beryl’s death coming just a month after the family lost its breadwinner Raila Odinga.
The Nation is now thrown into double tragedy and mourning.
