ODM Leader Raila Odinga’s daughter Winnie Odinga now says the relationship between ODM and Kenya Kwanza administration needs review.
Addressing in Mombasa, Winnie stated that the relationship should not be left in the hands of a few individuals who knows little on why Raila decided to work with Ruto and to what extent.
She warned that such a relationship was and still is very complicated for a few individuals to masquerade as chief engineers.
The EALA MP, therefore, proposed that, going forward with such a relationship will require a complete party’s National Delegates Conference held to deliberate who should continue handling that relationship that was first started by Raila and whether it should go on or not and for how long.
“Broad-based relationship is complicated. We are wondering if those who are taking upon themselves to manage it now, are they capable?” Winnie Odinga remarked.
She pointed out that the current party leader Dr. Oburu Odinga deserves now to convene a party leadership meeting to start the discussion as soon as possible so that to avert confusion and further unnecessary external traps.
It is from that meeting that the truth about what her father Raila Odinga(the late) wanted and what he didn’t want will be made clear for their supporters and members.
She was reiterating her yesterday’s (Friday) sentiments where she warned that matters ODM are weighty and cannot be handled by brokers who are now busy holding night meetings to sell out the Party to the highest bidder.
New Orange Democratic Movement Party leader, Dr. Oburu Odinga, also seized the opportunity to caution members against attempts to allow the party to get swallowed by the current regime.
