Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya has claimed that the recent activities happening in their ODM Party have made it hard campaigning for William Ruto.
Speaking in a local party function on Friday, Oparanya stated that the current ODM leadership has mismanaged the unity of the party especially on matters Edwin Sifuna.
“Mmefanya kazi yetu kuwa ngumu. Sasa kutafutia rais kura imekuwa ngumu zaidi. Ukienda kwa watu unaulizwa maswali yenye ni ngumu kujibu,” he stated.
Oparanya added that this is last minute rush period and any slight blunder could cost a party it’s name.
He noted that Oburu Odinga should immediately call his party in order and unity within the party made a priority before it is too late to salvage anything.
Oparanya hinted at joining hands with Sifuna should ODM continue mishandling the rest of the members.
He also claimed that the party is planning to chase out committee leaders affiliated to Sifuna.
