President William Ruto’s new directive to shut down power supply in some parts of the country continues to roll out in phases.

As we speak today, many disadvantaged areas like Vihiga County are already suffering in 5 to 11PM darkness following the head of State’s recent load-shedding order.

Ruto announced that many parts of the country will be forced to suffer in total darkness to be able to power up others.

Though, he didn’t specify or name which areas were going to be switched off and which one will remain powered, the commander-in-chief explained that Kenya, generally, has insufficient power supply less than 10MW, what is making industrialization somehow difficult to achieve.

This order has, therefore, continued to leave students, businesses and some residents in complete distress, and, only adjustments to the new order of life can save them from this worrying situation.

And if this goes on for a very long time, it will definitely force some families to relocate  to a somewhat well-covered areas like cities.
