Siaya County Governor James Orengo has today Wednesday met with President William Ruto at the Statehouse, Nairobi.
Orengo, alongside other governors from around the country, visited the head of State for a health-related meeting that saw the National Government hand over ambulances to various county heads.
“Attended the World Health Organization (WHO) donation ceremony at State House, a major boost to emergency and reproductive health services nationwide. Siaya County received an emergency ambulance, assorted medical equipment, and essential supplies as part of this support.
“Grateful for the continued collaboration between the County Government, the National Government, and key stakeholders as we work toward stronger health systems and Universal Health Coverage (UHC),” he confirmed.
James Orengo is one of the top critics of President William Ruto and his administration.
Lawyer Orengo has never been happy with the Handshake arrangements between Ruto and the opposition.
He has, therefore, been warning the opposition including their own ODM Party against attempts to work under the current regime making it clear that he will never be part of that outfit.
