TRM Holdings Limited has dismissed viral social media reports claiming that Thika Road Mall (TRM) is up for sale, issuing a firm public notice on April 8, 2026, to set the record straight.
In a statement released on the evening of Wednesday, April 8, the company categorically denied the claims, clarifying that no individual, agent, or entity has been authorised to market, advertise, or negotiate the sale of the property on its behalf.
“TRM Holdings Limited (“TRM Holdings”), the owner of Thika Road Mall, wishes to address recent social media posts claiming that the mall is available for purchase,” the company said.
It further emphasised that the circulating information is completely false and misleading, distancing itself from any such claims. “These posts are entirely false, unauthorised, and have no connection whatsoever to TRM Holdings or any of its directors, officers, or authorised representatives,” the statement added.
The company’s response comes amid growing speculation online, with TRM Holdings urging the public to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information regarding its operations and assets.
