Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya has refuted claims that he is fighting Nairobi County senator Edwin Sifuna.

Addressing the claims yesterday Sunday May 10, the outspoken Governor stated that the claims doing rounds on social media are State- sponsored and particularly fueled by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula who wants to see a war wage among the new crop of politicians in Western.

He described the claims as pure political propaganda from legacy political figures such as Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Speaker Moses Wetangula.

“Mimi siwezi kuwa mjinga kiasi hicho ati napigana na Sifuna. Sifuna hajanikosea na hiyo ni siasa za Wetang’ula na Mudavadi,” he responded.

He also added that the main agenda on the table currently is to remove Ruto through the ballot and that this can only be achieved through unity in the opposition.

The county boss noted that the removal of William Ruto will be a big win to the millions of Kenyans who wish to have a change in governance style.

Mr. Natembeya remarked further that, once Ruto goes away,  80% of ‘our’ problems will leave away with him.
