Christmas is just around the corner, and the New Year is barely two months away. How quickly time flies is something worth reflecting on as we approach the end of another year.
It feels like only yesterday that you promised yourself you would return to the village a changed person—whether wealthier, more educated, or both. You had high expectations and reassured your family and friends that this December would bring success. But now, if you’re honest, those goals might still feel out of reach, and the year may not have gone as planned.
Not your Making
Don’t frown; it’s not entirely your fault. The current economic environment is not very friendly for making drastic changes in just 12 months. This is a short period, especially considering all the challenges and responsibilities you have faced over the year.
Life does not always bend to our plans. You can try your best, but if your luck hasn’t aligned yet, progress can feel slow. Keep trying – eventually, the odds will turn in your favor.
As December and the New Year approach, my advice is simple: start planning for the next 12 months. The months of this year are gone, and nothing can change what has already passed. Begin preparing now. Do not be a “Johnny-come-lately.” The early bird catches the worm. Stay alert, stay focused, and keep moving forward. Never take a break until your efforts start to bear fruit. Giving up should never be an option.
What you haven’t Achieved
It’s natural to feel stressed about what you haven’t achieved, but don’t let it consume you. Focus on the positive aspects of life and ignore the pressure of age. Many people achieve success at 40, 50, or even later, and they still enjoy the life they once dreamed of. Your age should never prevent you from pursuing the life you want.
Luck is not about age; it’s about action. As long as you have hands to work and breath to pray, there is still enormous potential ahead.
Remember, success is often the result of persistence, not instant results. Take small steps every day toward your goals. Even minor progress adds up over time, and soon, you will be surprised at how far you’ve come.
Finally, surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you. Your environment plays a significant role in shaping your mindset. Seek guidance, learn from those who have walked the path before you, and remain committed to your vision. After 2025, you still have 12 months to transform your life. Make every moment count.
