Embattled ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has been removed from the Senate Energy Committee following changes to committee membership announced in the Senate by Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.
Under the latest committee reorganization, Moses Kajwang’ has been appointed to the Energy Committee, replacing Sifuna. The move means the Nairobi Senator will no longer sit in the influential committee, which is chaired by Oburu Odinga, a senior figure within ODM.
The changes form part of a broader Senate committee reshuffle aimed at realigning membership across various committees in the Upper House.
