Kisumu County Woman Representative Ruth Odinga has lashed at a section of political leaders in their area for blocking Governor James Aggrey Orengo from a funeral event.
Speaking shortly after the event, the woman representative noted that chasing Orengo from the event was the lowest any leader can go at the ODM needed unity.
“A leader sponsored goons to block Orengo. We have now reached that point we can not work with one another just because we want everyone to say Tutam?” she stated.
She warned that this level of intolerance is going to cost their ODM Party while benefiting outsiders who have been sponsoring the divisions.
The Raila’s sister added that she does not identify herself with Tutam or Wantam since her focus is keeping her late brother’s legacy in the ODM Party.
She was addressing this is a funeral service of the father Seme MP James Nyikal on Saturday.
