Edwin Sifuna has challenged officials from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to summon government-allied elected leaders and demand explanations over alleged threats to interfere with the 2027 General Election.

Speaking to supporters on Saturday, Sifuna warned MPs who have openly threatened to manipulate the 2027 vote, saying such remarks amount to criminal conduct that should be punished.

“I am a lawyer, and I know that the utterances these MPs have been making publicly are punishable by law. The IEBC ought to have summoned these people and even initiated charges against them,” he stated.

He also said that William Ruto should never attempt to undermine the will of the people, warning that such actions would trigger strong resistance.

Sifuna further told supporters to prepare for an early victory in 2027, saying that “numbers do not lie.”
