Police officers based at Rhonda Police Station have arrested two suspected members of the notorious “Confirm” gang, disrupting a wave of crime in Nakuru West.
Acting on a tip-off, officers carried out a targeted operation leading to the arrest of the two suspects—John Omondi, alias Daddy, and Samuel Kamau, alias Pino – who were allegedly caught while robbing members of the public.
The suspects, believed to have previously evaded arrest, were subdued and taken into custody before they could escape.
Preliminary investigations link the duo to the Confirm gang, a criminal group suspected of terrorising residents in Nakuru West. Police say the two are also persons of interest in several serious offences, including robbery with violence and murder.
They now join another suspect, James Nduati, alias Jemu, who is already in custody.
Authorities say the three are undergoing processing as detectives continue with investigations aimed at building a strong case ahead of their arraignment in court.
The arrests underscore the National Police Service’s continued efforts to dismantle criminal networks through intelligence-led operations.
