Wilson Sossion was on KTN TV today and was tasked with explaining to Kenyans like me – who genuinely don’t understand the need for constructing a new State Lodge in Meru – why the project is necessary. Unfortunately, he struggled to make a convincing case.
The former KNUT Secretary-General repeatedly argued that the State Lodge would “bring government services closer to the people.”
However, when the host pressed him to explain exactly which services would be brought closer, he couldn’t provide a clear answer. He could not mention a single service.
If those defending the project cannot clearly articulate its purpose, it only raises more questions among Kenyans.
Interesting times to be living in Kenya.
