MP Caleb Amisi has started a ‘serious’ debate on why he believes having Rigathi Gachagua in their camp is not safe anymore.

According to the Saboti MP, he is comfortable having Linda Mwananchi go full circle in the forthcoming 2027 general elections without the involvement of the other side of the opposition.

In many podcast interviews which he has attended from last month to date, Amisi who views himself as the founder of Linda Mwananchi, clams Sifuna is not right on working with Gachagua because first, that was not in their inhouse Linda Mwananchi agreement, and two, because, Gachagua will intimidate the rest of the team after the United Opposition happens to take office.

He argued that once Kalonzo Musyoka is handed the sword, Gachagua will start rocking the boat from inside and this will see weak Musyoka call back Ruto to stabilize their administration.

According to Mr Amisi, Kalonzo will end up being the weakest president ever in the history of the country what makes it easier for Gachagua to interfere with the leadership all the time. And to appear like he is stabilizing the country, Kalonzo will have to bring back Ruto the same way Ruto had to work with Raila at the height of Gen Zs demonstrations.

“Working with Kalonzo and Gachagua is okay but let me ask, does it remain sustainaable after Kalonzo takes office? What if Gachagua starts rocking the boat because he will say he is the one who gave Kalonzo power? He did that to Ruto. We all know Ruto had to invite Raila into that space. This will replicate because we are dealing with the same same guys,” he noted.

Amisi cautioned Sifuna to trade carefully and to only announce what is agreed on the table and not his own personal feelings and decisions.

Word now has it that if the Nairobi County senator Edwin Sifuna Continues to fear running for the top seat, Siaya County Governor James Aggrey Orengo will jump right into that space and announce the bid.
